Marty Ropp, CEO, Business Development Specialist & Field Representative
Marty Ropp is founder, part owner and executive officer of Allied Genetic Resources. Originally from Normal, Illinois, the current home office of Allied, Marty grew up in the swine seedstock business but left Illinois in 1982 to pursue his collegiate career in Kansas. There, he received a B.S. Kansas State University and followed with a M.S. from University of Missouri.
Marty also coached the Livestock and Meat Animal Evaluation teams of the University of Missouri during his teaching tenure there. He then held positions as University Extension (Regional Livestock Specialist), for the University of Missouri then Michigan State University, before coming to the American Simmental Association in 1998.
For twelve years and most recently he served as the Director of Field Services for the American Simmental Association located in Bozeman Montana. In addition to coordinating the commercial marketing, seedstock marketing and fields staff services of the association, he coordinated and grew the long running ASA Young Sire Evaluation Program.
While at the ASA, he received the Golden Book award from the World Simmental Federation for distinguished service and recently received the Continuing Service award for the Beef Improvement Federation for his efforts toward large scale genetic information collection and promotion of change.

Cam Christensen, Communications Coordinator
Cam Christensen currently serves Allied in terms of promotional and advertising development for our owners, as well as Allied itself. She also manages website maintenance, owner communication, and other administrative related duties. In addition to organizational responsibilities, Cam occasionally acts as a consultant for owner sales as well as commercial cattle marketed.
Cam’s knowledge and passion for the cattle industry stem from her family’s Simmental seedstock business, 3C Christensen Ranch. She too, owns and runs a handful of SimAngus cows with her family and continues to assist in the operation of their ranch near Wessington Springs, South Dakota, where she resides.
After receiving her B.S. in Agricultural Communications from South Dakota State University in 2008, Cam worked as an advertising consultant for a printing and publication business until joining the Allied team in 2010.

Commercial Marketing & Seedstock Procurement
Clint Berry joined the Allied team to deliver broader marketing and customer service options for our customers. Working as a Superior Livestock Auction representative and heading up the partnership between Allied and SLA, Clint provides greater opportunities for Allied customers to capture the added value of the superior genetics that make up their cowherds.
Clint is a fifth generation rancher whose family operates in southwest Missouri and west Texas. He graduated from Missouri State University with a B.S. in Animal Science, and draws on years of experience from all multiple segments of the beef industry. Clint worked as an inspector on the kill floor for IBP (now Tyson) in NE, was a pen rider for Prairie Livestock Inc. in MS, developed a Red Angus seed stock program and customer base in MO, as well as being engaged in his family's commercial cow/calf operation in MO and stocker/cotton operation in Texas. Prior to joining the Allied team, Clint served as Commercial Marketing Director for the Red Angus Association of America working with bull customers, feed yard partners, seed stock suppliers and industry professionals.
